Thanks to airships enthousiasts ( members of Association CIEL, of the Aero-Club de France ) French Airships Will fly again after 50 years of absence.

Indeed, a french ministerial regulation ( dated September 23rd, 1998 )  related to Ultra-Light Motorised ( ULM ) Aircraft foresees a category for Airships.

Voliris, has been establised in February 1999 in order to develope and manufacture Airships.

VOLIRIS Company

  The goal of VOLIRIS is to manufacture, operate and sell hightech Airships.

Those high technologies ( such as innovative materials, new engine concept and avionics ) provides with more reliable, safe and maneuverable airships.

VOLIRIS has already manufactured and operated several subscale remotely controlled airships and builds its first piloted Airship, the Voliris-900, which flew for the first time in summer 2003.

VOLIRIS provides training with its own airships.

VOLIRIS Airships are designed to support all classes of Aerial Works.
